The present simple is used when we want to create things that happen in this time:
For example: My mom travels around the world.
The auxiliar verbs for the present simple are DO or DOES, the DO is used with the pronouns I, We, You and They and the DOES is used with the pronouns He, She and It.
For example: Does she talk with you?
Do you want to eat a sandwich?
In the present simple the verbs used with the pronouns He, She and It change their way to be written with a S, ES and IES depending the written form of the verbs.
with S: travel-travels
depend- depends
make- makes
give- gives
With ES: the verbs with -ES, are the verbs that finish in: O, X, CH and SH.
go- goes
do- does
fix- fixes
watch- watches
wash- washes
With IES: the verbs with -IES, are the verbs that end in y but before the y they have a consonant.
For Example: fly- flies
study- studies
